Biography

 

Sports have always been an integral part of Coach Cece's life.  She has won numerous awards in all sports.  She swam and played softball for the university teams and excelled in the sport of swimming while swimming for the USMS Coral Springs Masters Swim Team in Coral Springs, Florida.

Coach Cece started, developed and implemented waterbabies classes at the University of New Orleans, Lakefront Arena Aquatics in her senior year of college.  After graduating from U.N.O., she relocated to South Florida and studied under and taught for the leading authority in the U.S. on infant and child swimming.

Coach Cece Dugas has over 15 years experience working both in and out of the water and has numerous current swimming and safety certifications:

USSSA, ASCA, ARC, USMS, SAFETY TRAINING FOR SWIM COACHES, YMCA

SWIM AMERICA, ADJUNCT PROFESSOR-FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY

Cece is a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes, Slidell;
St Scholastica Academy, Covington;
and the University of New Orleans, New Orleans, Louisiana.
